Aptar Pharma, a global leader in drug delivery systems and solutions, officially opened its new manufacturing facility in Mumbai on December 1, 2023. This expansion will significantly increase the company's production capacity and enhance its service to pharmaceutical customers in Southeast Asia.

The new 7,000 sqm state-of-the-art site features advanced technology and has already received ISO 15378 certification. It will expand Aptar Mumbai's capabilities beyond assembly and supply of metered dose valves and pumps, offering a wider range of innovative product solutions.

This project is driven by Aptar Pharma's localization strategy and directly addresses the growing demand for its products in Southeast Asia. "Our Aptar Pharma business in India has shown robust growth, and today marks a significant step in our investment in the region," stated Gael Touya, President of Aptar Pharma.
