Jaipur is gearing up for the 17th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, and alongside the literary extravaganza, the Jaipur Music Stage (JMS) has disclosed its impressive roster of performers. Running concurrently with the renowned literature festival, JMS promises an eclectic mix of artists from the Indian subcontinent, creating a vibrant tapestry of musical genres that encapsulate a fusion of styles, sounds, and histories.

First Evening:

• The opening night will feature the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and poet Alif (Mohammad Muneem), known for his multiple awards and contributions to Coke Studio Bharat’s Season 2. The evening will also showcase The Tapi Project, experimenting with genres like folk, trip-hop, jazz, and ambient textures, incorporating folk instruments into their unique sound.

Second Evening:

• Delhi-based multi-faceted artist Prabh Deep, recognized as one of the region’s brightest visionaries, will headline the second evening. The night will also highlight The Revisit Project, unraveling jazz complexity with a distinctive twist, infusing contemporary funk and jazz fusion into their renditions.

Final Evening:

• The grand finale will feature renowned singer-songwriters Harpreet and Salman Elahi, presenting a diverse range of musical compositions in various languages. The night will also showcase the ever-evolving band When Chai Met Toast (WCMT), known for their multilingual lyrics, infectious sing-along choruses, and use of acoustic folk instruments.
